Baja told us about it. Echeverias, dudleyas, sedums, lophophoras, astrophytums, feocacti and many others often fall victim to smugling rings and the black market. I think uh...cleistocactus winterii had been hunted pretty bad so its habitat range shrunk significantly.
Its sad, but it happens.
