Nice, Rose. Is that first picture a daisy?
Here are some blooms from yesterday.
Indigofera amblyantha - a shrub about 8ft tall which blooms for a couple months.
A blue corydalis which is blooming in late June - very strange. I've never been able to grow the blue ones - they melt in our muggy/hot climate. But this one is doing fine, so far - but just its 2nd year. We'll see. Corydalis calycosa.
Oxalis squamata - overwintered in my garage.
Agastache cana Rosita
A pretty weed arrived courtesy of some bird, bouncing bet (Saponaria officinalis). I'm keeping it for now but will have to keep an eye on it.
Centaurium scilloides. A tiny plant with vibrant pink flowers. In my rock garden.
Veronica rotunda. Not as nice a display as Rose's veronica ...
Stachys officinalis Nana - a dwarf pink-flowering stachys.
This golden-leaved oregano is called Drops of Jupiter. It's tall and shrubby, unlike the culinary varieties. The purple flowers stand out against the golden foliage.
Ligularia dentata Othello.
Another gold/purple combo with this Teucrium hircanicum Purple Tails.
A near-white geranium with surprisingly tiny flowers, G. pyrenaicum Summer Snow.
We've had a fairly pleasant last few weeks weather-wise. Not as steamy/hot as usual. I've enjoyed it. But heat is supposed to start kicking in soon, so likely back to reality...
