I have heard of someone grafting an albino seedling, but he has 'green fingers'. I don't know his result, tho'. An Englishman living in Venezuela who has been a breeder for a long time. Hum, now I have to go ask...
I tried once, and will again in the future if I get any albino seedlings. What I did was to get a brand new drill bit the same size as the seedling's "caudex" haha, and I drilled a hole in a big plant, and inserted the chopped-off seedling. It sat there for about a week or two, a rather long time, actually, but eventually faded. I thought it'd worked, but no go.
What I'm going to try next time is to cut a limb off a big plant, about 1/2 inch big, let it heal for an hour or two, then drill the hole directly in the middle of the stem. Seems like to graft, you must match at least some of the middle of the stems. On things like fruit trees, you must get the cambium, the sappy part of the plant just under the bark/skin. BUT Adeniums are totally different!! Their middle is a very active part of the plant, unlike trees that have the mature wood inside that doesn't do much.
