Trish is absolutely right that, in time, the ads will become more and more relevant. As the site grows and gets filled with gardening content, Google (who provides the ads) will be able to provide more targeted advertisements.
Google also knows where we are (based on our IP address) so you will see ads targeted to your locale.
If there are any truly objectionable ads, I can block them. I have already blocked all weight loss ads, for example. I have no problem with weight loss
but those ads usually contain objectionable images.
