July 1 and happy to have any blooms in this hot weather; however, we have escaped the worst and today there were some clouds and it is supposed to be cloudy tomorrow with a gasp! slight chance of rain. There is some good news to report--the two inch rain we had a couple of weeks ago has caused new scapes to pop out, so there should be some more flowers coming along.
This is a select group of blooms today--

Mama Drama--these are from a second set of six scapes--the first set of scapes were pretty bad, so the second set with much better flowers was a wonderful surprise.

Rainbow Mesa--another great surprise with two new scapes--Hanson does not list this as a rebloomer, so maybe a longer bloom season might do the trick.
