I try to use small trees and shrubs in my gardens. Also, I have a good number of dwarf conifers that I mix in the gardens. The photo is several years old and part of my original "RED" garden. The daylily in the center is 'Endless Heart'. The tree grew to be a little to big so I removed it. Here is a photo from a few days ago from a slightly different angle.
