That's why I was thinking it might work now (or soon). It isn't completely dry out there anymore, since we have had some rain in the past few weeks, and we typically have a wet fall. I'm never sure that I'll be able to get water out there after the initial planting, but I bet that if I plant them out encircled by a ring of aged horse poo, they'll probably settle in pretty well.

Oh, yeah! I'm right there with the plants on waiting for cooler weather! Hilarious! I've been out *parasol gardening* today, and even with the mobile shade it's still much too hot!
