I have quite a few Asiatic hybrids that appear to have already gone dormant or are currently going dormant for the season. We have had a seemingly endless amount of hot, dry, sunny days this summer, but I have been diligent about watering by hand. I don't think they were hit by botrytis or any other foliage disease. Is it normal for them to die back this early?
