Ok so, the rotting Red Plumie calloused well but it felt squishy. Sure enough! It was rotting. I trimmed it up to healthy (green) wood once again, put the rooting powder on the end of it and gently planted it in African Violet Soil without watering. I know Perlite is recommended but I am not willing to spend any more money on this baby. I can't take it any more. She makes me sad. Look how sad she looks. 1-1/2" in the soil and 1-1/2" showing in a 4" pot. It's suddenly not very promising, is it?? I am pretty much planting a green stalk now. Crying From this 2 weeks ago:
