I hope it roots Cheryl. When I got my cutting from a friend, the trunk started to get wrinkled. I thought it was rotting, but a friend told me to stick a pin in it and if white sap comes out, its alright. It had me worried for the longest time, I'm not sure if its rooted yet, but I tugged on it and there was some resistance. The wrinkled part also went away. Keep hopeful because you never know.
