I'm glad to report on Ron's daylilies, at least the ones that I have. On the whole I am happy with them although several that he marketed as rust-resistant weren't here, probably because they were exposed to different rust strains than Ron has.

The best plant I have of Ron's is Blackberry Tart. In its first season here it bloomed and rebloomed beautifully and displayed not a speck of rust.

Cosmic Fireball had beautiful blooms but more rust than I was comfortable with. I'm not sure I am going to keep it. I am going to give it another season.

Malibu Sunset: nice blooms, no rust.

Strawberry Smoothie: got rust in both seasons.

Ethereal Lavender: really nice blooms last year. This year blooms were down in the foliage. Both years it showed some rust late in the season.

Flying Fox: no rust, blooms a bit misshapen in its first season.

Peach Preserves: gorgeous blooms but not many. No rust. I hope this one settles in and performs well because it's beautiful.

Shaggy Pumpkin: I got this one late in the season after it became available. (I had been on a waiting list.) It did bloom in its first season and has shown no rust. No pleating yet but the plant is young.

I got Purple Sails as a bonus this year. No blooms yet.

I have uploaded bloom pics for most of these in the database.
