The only thing that could have saved me from Ron's wrath would have been a muzzle, which I freely, knowingly and stupidly refrained from using. At present, I'm in a worse pickle at home, so I especially need to forgo my 1st amendment rights and just give you two a heartfelt thank you for your much appreciated words.
And Joseph thank you for your offer of such tantalizing seeds, but mine wouldn't be a good home for them right now.
gonna go pull some weeds and practice the serenity prayer
(1st edit to rein in remarks that I might make on this forum closer to the subject of just morning glory flowers.)
Where would that kind of off-topic discussion end, if ever? Mention 'Kushner' to me and the subjects of harassment and possibly real estate cannot be far away. Nor might be possible vested interests in this community. Since ~2014, someone hasn't been willing to wait for me to sell my home of my own free will, but rather has proceeded to do what any new developer/buyer might do AFTER purchase: clear the property of trees and whatever - by such tiny incremental changes that the crime is not apparent, unless you're the owner who designed and made the garden and have an above-average knowledge of botany, design and gardens, but ignorant when it comes to modern devices/techniques /substances.
(2nd edit to delete references to Robert Frost and investors, which ironically, includes us all one way or another. But as a side note - has anyone ever met a really serious investor who loved poetry? Bet the wings of the Snark Bird could rise to new heights on that one.)
Watching the garden, helplessly, being cannibalized alive while being pressured not only to shut up but to accept what I'm seeing isn't happening is known in some circles as gaslighting - part of a community influencer's toolbox when it comes to stimulating a 'stagnant' real estate market.
Let me know if anyone would like for me to delete this post.
Now y'all may have some idea how badly I miss growing morning glories like I used to - and not by the current convolvulaceae infestations (and their kith and kin) planted/sown in my garden without my permission.
In addition to deleting this post, please accept my apologies.
