I am going to plant my potted new arrivals in the ground also.
A seedling did fine last year in the garage, but I don't want to
take a chance on my new purchased ones.
I discovered this year that year-old plants don't like to be moved. It showed
them down a bit, but will have to move these in the spring regardless.
