Tip cuttings are usually referred to as top cuts. Because they contain the apical meristem.
This is how I prop stuff like philodendrons, Epipremnums and Monsteras. Section up with at LEAST 2 preferably 3 nodes per section, strip the lower leaves and bury all but the last node in soil mix
