chelle, I would have never been able to remember to dig things up. All my tender and tropical plants are grown in pots for the patio. At the end of the season I cut everything down and put them in my laundry room. When I go down to wash cloths I give everybody a half a glass of water. I have over 100 tropical and tender plants that come in for the winter.

Glads grow great in huge pots with a Dahlia and some coleus. You can have a pretty blooming garden in a pot that you do not have to dig up.
