My experience with it has been largely good. Yes, it has a short scape, but the flower is good enough to pair up with other plants with much higher scapes. I noticed that the flowers tend to open poorly in very humid weather. There are fewer flowers than I might like. But for all that, it holds up very well to Wisconsin weather, and that's why I keep it.
