My husband loves to root proliferations and almost never loses one, unless there are absolutely no visible roots of any kind. Let me show you a picture of Golliwog, a brand new in the garden dl for us this year. It bloomed beautifully, and then put out 2 proliferations right at the base of the clump. One prolif died before we could get it out, but the other one is now planted in our "nursery" bed, and beginning to grow. We are thrilled, hope to have a good sized new Golliwog to join its mommy next spring.
