IDK what area of the country you live in, dogpack, but in Texas my clivia live outside until winter. They occasionally lose leaves but pretty much get ignored. Yet they bloom, glorious large orange blooms! They get Osmocote early summer and a dose of blooming fertilizer in the early spring. They tend to like being pot-bound and not disturbed much.. The ones I have came from my 84 year old mother in law. It is special to me. Maybe I'd better pay more attention to it?

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh
uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
