May I suggest you just wait and watch the pretty little white flowers that will be showing soon, then you will see the babies start to form, let them form until they are a few inches wide or more and then you can cut the cord(stem) and put it in water for a few days and then plant it or plant it immediately. Noting like a pregnant spider plant. Take care of your "mommy" and don't overwater her. More or less just ignore her until she shows you something to look at other than the stem showing now. Just give her some light and some love and she will give you babies you can grow into more plants. Enjoy.
