Great looking plants Richard. I too was drawn to Phragmipedium Splendens, but was not familiar with that name but with the help of google came up with the more commonly used name of Phragmipedium Schroederae. This plant is a cross of Phrag caudatum and Phrag Sedenii.

Phragmipedium Schroederae note that 'Schroderae' in the RHS register is spelled without the first (e) making it very hard to search for in the registry.

I have Phragmipedium Schroderae 'Jesse' HCC/AOS but it has yet to bloom for me since I got it late last summer, great expectations though.
