I do not bag ahead of time bc I do not have room for leftover packs. But like ishareflowers, I start working as soon as dibbing is underway and in my case start putting bags together then for the bigger swaps. It's not a huge pain in my opinion until you start getting over 300 packs. The site itself is clunky to use and I would recommend avoiding the Plant List feature and just putting your energy into your Swap List.
I packed 500 things with what I sold plus extras for DnD's last year and that was pushing the limit of what was possible to pack after the fact and meet the ship deadline for the swap while working a full time job. I even got help from my partner. I finished packing the Saturday morning of the deadline and was not able to double check everything like I normally would, so had a few escapees I was luckily able to include for people in the subsequent swaps. I will probably stay under 300 unless I can get a head start with things I know are in high demand and will definitely sell.
