Perhaps if Ileana is looking to replicate the look then the bigger maples would not be useful. Looking at the trunks some look a bit thickened at the top so I wonder if they are grafted standards. The branches aren't as straight as a big maple either. I almost wonder if the are grafted standard Japanese maples. There look to be some lines outside of the leaves (flower remains?) also but I'm not sure if those are photo artefacts? Too bad we can see the street number but no street name or Google street view might have helped.
