I have my exceptions though like Daddy Long Legs (which I don't think is an actual arachnid) and Garden Spider/Zipper Spider/Orb Weaver. I have a 'pet' one I watched grow from a baby, I've moved her from plant to plant until she moved herself to a corner of the backporch and I personally feed her grasshoppers. She hasn't had eggs yet that I know of, I know it won't be too long before she dies. She hasn't even felt like fixing her web back lately.
