Not annual poppies---but Iceland poppies can be fall sown, or they sow their selves.
Annual poppies like cooler conditions so I try to sow early spring.(papaver somnifleurum).
Shirley poppies like warmer, so wait until May for Shirley poppies (papaver rhoeas).
