Yes.

To be exact, there was one point where I had to crouch and go underneath some trees. I almost cut my hand on a really spiky plant. The seeds seemed to come from the spiky plant.

Then again, I'm not sure. I know the seeds came on in a dry area when I was out of the water.

I'm actually heading back to the spot in about an hour for another duck hunting session, so I will see if I can track down the responsible plant and get a picture.
