I decided I needed more space for my veggies next year. I don't have them in only one area but rather have various veggie areas around the garden. So I expanded one gardenbed that is a tomato garden. And I moved iris out of a square raised bed so that what used to be a flower bed is now going to be a veggie bed.

Here are my iris in what I call Tower Square Garden.

And here is Tower Square garden with everything except the clematis on the tower moved out. I mulched it with straw so that it doesn't get overgrown with weeds.

I intend to put up a vertical trellis around the smaller middle part and grow my Yard Long Beans there next year. Then I will plant tomatoes around the big part of the square.

The other thing I did was extend this tomato bed I call the old tomato bed.

Had to move some stuff and change things around but I got the bed outlined and put in. Plus there is room around it so I have a path. Just planted the grass seed in the path area this morning as I just finished the bed expansion yesterday.
