Have a favorite series by a favorite author in the Sci-fi/Horror genre? Tell us about it. We may want to read it too!
I'm always looking for new series to read.

I have a few but I'll start off with one.

JULIAN MAY
She wrote an epic series comprised of 10 books divided into 3 subsets that are all interconnected, starting in the 1970's. They are written like the Star Wars books, backward in time. Further, they are circular. What happened in the past is manifest in the future. But there is a central theme through it all.
They have to be read in a specific order. Most of these books are available in paperback or on Kindle. The hardback versions have long been out of print and command 3 digit prices by collectors, if you can find them. I got my hardbacks in the 1970's and 1980's when I belonged to the Science Fiction Book Club.

The premise of the whole series is hard to grasp unless you read the books. It involved time travel, intergalactic space aliens, Telepathy and other extranormal abilities, Faeries, and a lot of basis in science. Surprisingly, some things written about here in the 1970's have come to pass. The advent of computerized books that make page books obsolete is one.

The books follow one family and one set of people through time.

It starts with the Saga of Pliocene Exile, 4 books:
The Many Colored Land
The Golden Torc
The Nonborn King
The Adversary

then the Intervention trilogy
Surveillance
Metaconcert
Intervention

and finally the Galactic Milieu Trilogy
Jack the Bodiless
Diamond Mask
Magnificat
