Regarding the BBB procedure and Chamblee's, I did TWO things: 1. Wrote a review. 2. Filed a complaint. Note that these are two separate initiatives. Regarding the complaint, once it is filed, the BBB reaches out to the business in question (in this case, Chamblee's) in an effort to prompt the business to remedy/correct the situation. In my case, I received a reply from the BBB several weeks after filing my complaint that the business (Chamblee's) did not respond to their outreach. They also said that they (BBB) do not do anything further, that it would be up to me to pursue other avenues, ie legal or otherwise. I DID file a complaint against Chamblee's with the TX Attorney General's office and also the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Bureau of Consumer Protection. I would advise anyone defrauded by Chamblee's to pursue all of the above, PLUS attempt to utilize the fraud protection program of their method of payment (paypal, debit or credit card). The latter was what worked for me to recoup my funds (note that it was NOT Chamblee's who refunded the money, but rather the fraud 'insurance' of my credit union.) Either way, the Chamblee's folks are an unmitigated nightmare, and their latest attempts to participate in this forum with offers to communicate in order to remedy the situation are pathetic, not to mention devious.
