I dug up one large plant this morning and was able to make 3 plants out of it. Now to keep them alive till the plant swap! I snitched the seeds from a local library probably 3 yrs. ago and I believe it to be Magnus..It gets between 3 and 4 ft. tall and has large pink blooms on it. I'm bringing along some of the dried coneflower pods so if anybody wants them, they can plant more. Somewhere I read in a book or maybe even read it on one of the gardening websites...if you take and plant the coneflower seed pot with the stem showing, the seeds will grow from that. I have never tried that but should, just like taking a liatris dried pod and making a trench and covering it over with soil and watering it , it is supposed to grow like that. I cut my liatris back yesterday. Dug up cherry brandy rudbeckia and transplanted it today also. I am hoping that all these plants make it for the swap meet.
