Well, I actually already used that square bed. I had Sugar snap pea seeds that I had not planted so I just put them there today. Not sure if I might be too late but nothing to lose by planting them. The old tomato garden area now enlarged will just sit until next spring when I add compost over the entire thing and plant tomatoes.

I have 12 plants in that old tomato garden. Two rows of 6. I plan on adding 8 more by putting 4 more in each row. So next spring will be able to put in two rows of ten for 20 plants there. That should be a really great producing garden as the 12 plants I have this year are already putting out tomatoes like crazy.
