There are a LOT of blooms that should open this weekend with the warm temps.

Now comes the hard part. I want to try to over winter this monster. Each arm of the lower fork has at least one more fork up higher. My though was to cut of the main fork and then cut off the smaller forks higher up.

The main trunk has all kinds of side shoots developing. Will they amount to anything? I'm thinking of bring the whole beast, after trimming into the basement for the winter. It's a pretty reliable low 60s all winter.

Once I cut the forks, how do I over winter them?
