I have that concern, too, and so I try to maintain multiple clumps of my favorite irises in different areas of my yard. I have a small yard, too, and so I am going to have to start culling in earnest as I have too many favorite cultivars to maintain multiple clumps of each. Hilarious!
Lyn, what is that Johnson iris you have?
