Purple Tarantula has been here for years. Even with an irrigation system and full sun, it has increased rather slowly and has never been anywhere close to 52." ( It grows near Dances with Giraffes and Cherry Peacock, both of which dwarf it.( CP is registered at 45" , DWG at 60".) I'd guess it comes in at about 42" on its best days. That being said, it is a beautiful bloom! I've had it since 2012 and have only divided it once.
