We have a few variegated Dwarf Umbrella trees growing in our backyard and I have one from a cutting that I potted up last spring. I chopped the backyard plants back a couple of weeks ago and thought about potting more cuttings but they ended up going out with yard debris.
At some point Schefflera arboricola was moved to the Heptapleurum genus.
