sunsetsail said: I received two poinsettias as gifts last year. I transplanted them after Christmas into a garden area. (I'm in Florida) The plants have flourished, and leaves are starting to turn red. My question. Can I transplant into pots to display in different areas of my yard without harming the plants. Can I then transplant back into the garden area for another year?

Your poinsettias are happy where they're at, moving them back into a pot will most likely cause some transplant shock, and your beautiful plant won't look so great by Christmas. There are such beautiful potted poinsettias at the garden centers this time of year for great prices. Check out Lowe's or Walmart.
