Thanks everybody for the compliments on the reds they are the hardest to pick sometimes as the colors can be similar but were making progress every year just slow going for now.

21-186 was another that was really good Dash Of Burgundy is proving to be a good parent have some more to share from other breeding with it that was awesome.

My favorite from 20-75 was A that color really stood out in the garden it grows well and has good stalks it was worked heavy last spring starting to take them into the Pinks for form so looking forward to seeing what happens Smiling

19-01A I thought this one was fun when it 1st bloomed just a great blend of colors and the belly stripe and color in the standards ties it all together can't think of anything like it which is what I'm after would like to be able to introduce things you don't need a name tag for or if you lose the tag you will recognize it from across the garden Smiling

Andrea.. My personal favorite and recommendation would be( Royal Heir) nothing else is close for Neglectas you won't miss it in the garden really it is a perfect package with show stems, big flowers, and I like the growth on the plants you can see from this picture how well it does taken this spring in Keith's garden to show the clump effect

Lyn.. Thank You for the comments and I'm thrilled you are enjoying my plants they are a lot of fun for me and a project that will never end because as we reach one goal another seedling opens for the 1st time in the spring and now we have another project to advance Smiling

I hope you and others reading this will make more crosses in the spring and give it a try it is a lot of fun to watch them bloom for the 1st time and learn from the process .. you'll hit the jackpot every now and then and that makes it worth all the work to grow them and line them out its fun to buy plants from a catalog but its very rewarding to create your own.

There is no need to worry about commercial stuff that was never my intention when I started these have always been for our family entertainment in the spring and the goal really isn't to create things for someone with a gazillion iris I would rather be able to get someone that has never grown Iris interested in them and give them something to look forward to in the spring Smiling

The advice I was given years ago was cross the newest plants available to you at the time and Ill pass that on to you ...On Sculpted it will be worth the wait if your looking for a ruffled white really wish there was enough of it to go next year I wanted it to go 1st.

PS.. Always buy the KEPPEL plants his are the best ! nodding
