My friend down the road keeps bees. She's been working at this for many years now and is a true expert. At last count she's got nearly 20 hives that she carries through year on year. The amount of honey is stupendous. I buy from her; I figure some of it is from my gardens because we're well within the foraging radius of her hives. Every time I see a bee in my garden I think "There's one of Julie's bees!"
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."
