I grow my orchids mainly outdoors in my pool cage, year round. Except of course we do get a few short cold snaps even down here, halfway down the Florida peninsula. Looks like next Wednesday night will see me schlepping my orchids into the house for a night or two.

I'm growing mainly heat-tolerant and sun-loving varieties - Brassavola, Dendrobium, a few Cattleya, Vandas, Miltassia, Encyclia and one struggling group of a big Phal and some mini-Phals on a cork lined wreath mount. I have Spathoglottis and Epidendrum radicans growing out in the garden as well.
