I have had this CV for 5 years now. If there wasn't snow covering it up right now, I would check a hypothesis that it tries to act as an evergreen here in 7b. It has children that range from dormant to evergreen, so we notice that it must at least carry a dormant gene- perhaps from it's mama, the beloved and hardy Spacecoast Tiny Perfection.
I love that it is a small tet. I love that it has really bright color. I love the reliable rebloom. It's cool that it is an early season bloomer. What I love less is that blooms seem to wash out in hotter weather. It doesn't always shine in the chilly early season and it doesn't look great when the weather is really hot, but it has good days in-between. I have it next to the house on the sunny side, but blooms might slick less if it had shade a little sooner. Although it's often on my mind that it seems to miss Florida, I suspect that blooms might not hold up well to the heat. To be fair: I don't water it much, so part of this situation is a sometimes-thirsty plant. These blooms are from attractive days at the end of May.
