Hydrangeas Peonies Celebrating Gardening: 2015 Plant Identifier Garden Ideas: Master Level
Papaver somniferum 'Gatterman' 23W30 Poppy s1- (SSE) Opium Poppy, Mature plant size: 3ft., PINK, double, USDA Hardiness Zone HA, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW29, In Garden Bed s1 for 135 DAYS (SSE). Planted in 2023.

SSE: Gatterman Heirloom Poppy (Papaver somniferum) Stunning...striking...splendid—superlatives abound when describing these dark-pink "chrysanthemum"-type flowers. Plants reach 2.5' tall, mature early- to mid-season, and readily self-seed. Brought to the United States from Germany by the Gatterman family in the 1800s, these poppies can stand alone or blend seamlessly into a vibrant mixed border. 80 days to bloom.

2023 note: looks red to me...
