You are correct, Kat. But when I hear about Wylie in this area, I'm thinking about a well organized and well defined, unincorporated community in Taylor county in the southern part of the city of Abilene. I drive through it occasionally and its name and signs for it are posted everywhere. The Wylie school campus is a really large one. As many people do, I think of it as separate from Abilene itself. It makes the news in this area regularly. If someone mentions Wylie around here, it's usually about that Wylie, not the DFW area town. I guess it's more of an Abilene suburb.
