So happy to hear that your snowdrops are multiplying! My nivalis continues to multiply like crazy too, but the named cultivars that I have been purchasing as single pricey bulbs in the green are growing very slowly...

The snowdrops and the hellebores are such welcome sights for a gardener in these winter months. I don't have any aconites, but it sounds like they are another welcome sight for early winter. Lucky you to have a place to acquire them from nodding

I used to do that with Virginia bluebells that had multiplied as far as the eye could see between a friend's parents cattle field and the river. Absolutely awesome sight. I'd dig up five gallon buckets of them each spring, but they never took off here. I need to try them again - they are supposedly deer resistant, so I don't know why they haven't made it.
