Along the potomac here the silver maples have just started blooming. I have croci blooming too, and am told my folks in 5b in central IA do as well, which is shockingly early. Apollo arugula and cilantro are bolting already as well here, and I spotted the first dandelion and dead nettles open this past weekend, along with forsythia! Makes me feel like I should be planting peas so I cleaned up a few beds early to get some early crops in.
