But - normally an Orchid would have 3 sepals, 2 petals and a lip ( and a column). In your Phal the petals took on the shape of the lip and the bloom exhibits peloria. It is a mutation, either induced or it has occurred naturally. Since this was not the only one on the table when you bought it, I would think it will repeat and not have been caused by fleeting environmental factors.
