Not Suitable for All Soil pH Levels
According to studies reported by Colorado State University, phosphorus from organic fertilizer like bone meal is only available to plants in acidic soil, with a pH level of 7 or lower. If your soil is tipping towards alkalinity, bone meal fertilizer will have no real impact. Make sure to know your soil pH before amending it.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
