Nourse Farms ships via Fed Ex (2 days to here, which is good). Their shipping costs start VERY high, at $22 . But the increases for larger order values are modest ($1 more for orders between $60 and $85, and another $1 gets you to a cost of $24 for shipping up to $140 worth of plants). SO, the more the merrier! If you order bare root plants and can't pick them up right away, I'll pot them temporarily (meaning, they might be a bit crowded but since they'll just be waking up that should be fine).

Terri wanted to try a few 'Mara des Bois' strawberries also. (They have the most amazing intensity of flavor and aroma of any non-alpine strawberry I've ever come across.) I think I'll be ordering a second bundle of them, so if anybody might want, say, 5 plants to try, let me know. They will produce runners (like most strawberries), so by rooting them as they appear you should be alble to turn 5 plants into 25 or more by the end of summer. With current shipping costs, that's looking like $8.11 for 5 'Mara des Bois'.

I want to get the Norse Farms order in SOON, let's say before Wednesday (3/13) noon.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
