Had my first amaryllis bloom back on the 9th and my first Dutch Iris bloom today, the white iris have been blooming about a week now.
Yesterday I redug a row of small pots, turned that row into two rows of large pots.
Today I redug two rows of small pots and dug out enough to make it two rows of larger pots. I deleted everything in the pots that had died over winter, these were all seedlings and there were 10 pots of nothing.
Tomorrow I hope to get those four rows inventoried and entered into my Plant Step program.
I have always wanted to print out a complete listing of my plants but never had a way to just print out the plant names, but I just discovered the other day that Plant Step will make a report if I click on Judge that prints out the name of the daylily then 10 blocks of characteristics that you can judge the daylily on. Each page will fit 33 listings(in the size font I used). I did not notice if there was actually a choice of fonts. It does not have a block used for the number of branches. If you wrote small you could probably fit branch numbers in with the bud count box. It is called a daylily judges report, very nice. It will certainly help this year when trying to do a better job of keeping some stats on plants.
