One of my favorite eggplants to grow is Bride and it has been for years now. It's pretty late, but once it gets going it's productive. I like eggplants I don't need to peel and rarely grow any of the very large varieties. This year I'll be growing four. The Diamond last year was the first to produce. Slim Jim had pretty purplish leaves. Little fingers is new. I've grown Fairytale and other small ones before. Love to just slice lengthwise and toss in a skillet. Easy for hot summer dinners. Growing under lights to plant out in May (if all goes well
