Off-topic, but if you aren't homesteading anymore, Monty, are you raising chickens or growing veggies, or is it all just ornamental gardens? Just curious.

The yellow seedling is still in bloom. Hurray! It sure brightens up the garden on these overcast days (rain again here).

No other bearded irises blooming yet in the Near 40 (well, visible from the house), though there are stalks coming up, and of course there are PCIs in bloom. I haven't been out to the side yard or Back 40, but I'd expect the I. japonica x NADA to be in bloom, and maybe also YONKERS.
