Well I have spent a few weeks (seems like months) working on resorting my pots and deleting pots with dead plants. Finally today I finished that project up. While doing so I found my first scape of the year. "Life is a Highway', it was two fans in a small pot. Shocked to have my first scape of the year actually be in a pot. Also my first scape of the year is at least a week behind last year. I was beginning to wonder if there were going to be any scapes in March, last year I had a bloom at the end of March. I much prefer this timing of later scapes and hopefully no late freezes to kill them. I figure with my spraying incident last year and the failure of plants to return after winter, I am down by at least 30 cultivars. I still have quite a few that on the verge of death, barely hanging in there. My experience has shown that the ones not recovered by now will soon be dead. They seem to reach a point where they just can't gain the strength to recover.
It is such a great feeling to have all my plants inventoried again and organized.
I finally have all my seedlings separated from the registered plants, all my NOIDs and unknowns are in there own little section.
I have all my orders in the ground but one, coming from New York it probably won't ship till early May.
I got my caladium bulbs in yesterday, so I need to get out and get them planted. I think the weather is warm enough now for them to be safe. I also still have other bulbs I need to be getting planted into the dirt.
Just let me mention I have lost 18 lbs. on my modified carnivore diet and I am completely overcome with amazement at how much less inflamation I have and how much better I feel health wise. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!
I am averaging a loss of two lbs. per week, and that has been surprisingly consistent.
